I’m Svante, a 20-year-old Data Center Technician at Amazon Web Services in Västerås. I build software, AI, IoT and game projects, and outside of tech I’m into cars and sim racing.
Story
I’m 20 years old and this is my personal website, where I share my projects, thoughts and experiences in the world of technology. I am passionate about innovation and constantly exploring new ideas and solutions to shape the future.
I graduated in 2025 from the technology specialization program at Hitachigymnasiet (formerly ABB-gymnasiet) in Västerås, where I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in programming, AI, IoT, cloud services and modern product development. At Hitachigymnasiet I have been involved in building everything from websites, apps and AI to games, drones and physical systems. Examples of projects I have worked on are an AI chatbot with RAG backend in Python, a surgeon simulator developed in collaboration with Region Västmanland, and a radio-controlled vehicle that can be controlled over the network. I was also a web developer in RiksdagsTracker UF, where we took 4th place in the JA company of the year in Västmanland 2025. AI Sweden recognized my work and awarded me, and I also received an award for being a role model for other students. During my time there I also took courses in Python and Linux at Mälardalens University.
After graduating, I started working as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Triljon, a fintech startup working to modernize the way investors and startups connect and collaborate. It was a fun and rewarding experience, but I decided to step down six months later in January 2026. I wrote about what I learned as a CTO.
I then spent a year at NTI Gymnasiet in Västerås, where I became a certified upper secondary school engineer in software design and received several certifications. During that year I also worked part-time at an AI startup, which gave me early hands-on experience working in a real tech environment.
I now work as a Data Center Technician at Amazon Web Services in Västerås, where I am part of the team keeping the infrastructure running that powers the cloud.
I am a committed and curious problem solver who is driven by the possibilities of technology. My passion for understanding, creating and improving makes me constantly want to learn more and develop. I am also a team player who thrives on collaboration, and combines my technical focus with structure, communication and accuracy to contribute to both a good atmosphere and strong results.
Outside of tech I’m a big car enthusiast, and since 2019 I’ve been into sim racing, mostly drifting in Assetto Corsa.
